Before developing any work plan, it’s important for you (and potentially for me) to have a solid assessment of your organizational, community, or campus. This will help answer some of the core questions as you decide how to engage men and boys in prevention efforts, provide services to male identified people, develop your efforts to promote healthy masculinities, and/or to expand your efforts to create a welcoming, equitable and valuing space.

Organizational Self Assessments

I offer 2 parts of an assessment., all of which are topic and audience specific:

Self-Assessment

The self-assessment is a simple check-list form that is available free, and that you can use to get a better understanding of your own strengths, capacities, and areas in which you need to develop.

Once you have completed the self-assessment, I can provide further assistance, guidance and analysis.

Guided Assessment

The guided assessments go much deeper. They are designed to lead you through a process in conversation with colleagues, and/or community members to explore further what your collective goals are (within the topic), fears and hopes that you have related to pursuing that agenda.

These assessments, together, are designed to provide you with a solid foundation on which to base a strategy to launch, develop or expand your current efforts.
